Fun with Grammy (Vol. 2) In Vol. 2 Grammy introduces kids to the seasons of the year through poems and finger plays.  Look for a new original poem dedicated to her own grandchildren.

 

Created by early childhood education specialist Charlene Lockner, (she's really a grandma, too) this audio CD provides the perfect venue for an adult to interact educationally with a child.  Even if the adult is not familiar or comfortable with dealing with young children, "Grammy" sets the stage and expertly directs each activity.  By just following along "Grammy" will have the child both laughing and learning.

The CD includes a collection of finger plays and poems, appropriate to each of the four seasons.   Each of the twenty-three tracks is designed to accomplish a specific learning objective.  Counting, number concepts, language skills, months of the year and days of the week are all presented in a way that makes children enjoy learning.  All tracks are appropriate for ages three to five years.  As the child develops, he or she gains additional skills by continued use of the program. For example, young children gain valuable language and number skills from each track.  As the child continues to use the program, the counting becomes easier and the concepts become more meaningful.
